Seminar on “SakshamNari-Sashakt Bharat सक्षम नारी-सशक्त भारत (Strong India by Empowering Women)

Empowerment of women make them economically independent, self-reliant, they have positive esteem which enable them to face any difficult situation. This enables them to participate in development activities and in the process of decision making.

Though the Government introduced many Acts and Schemes to empower the women of India, they are discriminated and marginalized at every level of the society. Women empowerment cannot be possible unless women come up to help themselves to empower themselves. There is a strong need to promote further economic empowerment which could reduce feminized poverty, promoting education and prevention and elimination of violence against women. In India, in spite of various laws that protect women’s rights, the gender inequalities are one of the highest in the world.
Women today are creating exceptional accomplishments as entrepreneurs with the increased supportive initiatives of the Government. There is need always to update and enhance the knowledge of schemes of women entrepreneurs. One such area is financial schemes for business.
