The Federation of Telangana and AndhraPradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry-FTAPCCI in association with Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) is organising a Round Table Discussion with the visiting delegation of City of Atlanta, Georgia, USA on 11th October, 2017 (Wednesday) between 10:30 a.m. and 12.15 p.m. at J.S. Krishna Murthy Hall, Federation House, Red Hills, Hyderabad.
The delegation comprise of the following members:

The delegation is looking at strengthening multifaceted ties, including trade, investments, tourism, logistics and air services between the city of Atlanta and India.

It is now amongst the fastest growing metros in the US and has the 10th largest economy ($335 billion) in the US as measured by Gross Metro Product. Metro Atlanta is host to 28 Fortune 500 companies such as Coca-Cola, UPS, Home Depot, CNN, NCR, Delta, First Data Corp, Equifax Inc. etc. It has emerged as the world leader in financial technology related global payment and financial services industries. It is also emerging as the manufacturing hub in the US especially in automotive parts, aerospace, defence, film & TV production, agro-processing, healthcare etc. It is now the second largest base of movie/TV production after Hollywood. We have around 450,000 persons of Indian origin living in the region.
Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the World’s busiest airport in terms of passengers handled with over 105-110 million passengers traveling through it last year. The Airport is the foremost economic driver not just for the Metro Atlanta area but for the entire Southeast United States region. It looms large in every economic activity of the city and state generating almost 500,000 jobs and contributing more than $60 billion in annual revenues. It is the primary hub for Delta Airlines. The City of Atlantawields tremendous clout as an economic entity in this region, with the Airport as its primary economic driver.
